As the demand for reliable bike detection in traffic management keeps increasing, our partners all over the world demonstrate how to exceed in implementing innovative and reliable solutions. We’ve been talking about these projects more often in the last months, including one project in smartmicro’s hometown Braunschweig.
Last month, our partner ITS Teknik joined an event that refers to the increasing interest and importance of bike detection. At the Bikeable City Masterclass in Copenhagen, they participated in the discussion of bicycle strategies for city planning. ITS Teknik is using smartmicro sensors for bike detection applications in multiple Danish cities, mostly for traffic management at intersections but also for vehicle speed detection to increase the safety of cyclists and other VRUs.
