THE DRVEGRD LINE
4D/UHD FRONT RADAR
With 48 virtual channels, the DRVGRD 152 offers a 100° field of view in azimuth featuring a 2° UHD angular separation, extending up to 180 meters in range. The radar introduces 4D functionality through a 20° field of view in elevation. The sensor presents a choice between two operation modes, allowing users to strike a balance between extending the range and achieving finer range resolution based on their specific needs.
4D/UHD CORNER RADAR
Featuring wide azimuth field of view of 140° and operation scan modes, the DRVEGRD 169 accommodates a wide operational spectrum — from slow-moving autonomous robots to conventional vehicles. When synchronized with multiple DRVEGRD 169 units or combined with front radar, this system enables comprehensive 360° coverage for any vehicle.

EASY SET-UP SOFTWARE
THE DRIVE RECORDER
The Drive Recorder is a powerful tool for visualizing, monitoring, recording, and playback, as well as remote control of smartmicro radar data and synchronized digital video. It is designed to receive all kinds of data (typically detected reflectors) from radar or other types of sensors.
smartmicro is offering ROS support / ROS drivers for easier customer integration of the radar sensors including ready-to-run real-time display in ROS. Customers can read the proprietary radar protocol into ROS, which significantly facilitates the processing and visualization of radar data.
smartmicro provides a ROS 2 driver that offers multi-sensor support, connecting multiple DRVEGRD radars at a time with one ROS 2 driver node. This node is configurable using ROS 2 parameters and interfaces with our Smart Access C++ API for direct connection to smartmicro sensors.
