smartmicro Technology featured in NXP radar solution

NXP Semiconductors, a leader in the automotive radar industry, presented a demo video on scalable corner- and front radar solutions featuring smartmicro technology.

The video, originally presented at this year’s digital Consumer Electronics Show (CES), shows different applications and use cases like simultaneous blind-spot detection, lane change assist, and more.

Key requirements for these applications are long range, high detection accuracy, multi-mode and wide band capability, ultra-high resolution, adaptive antennas, built-in interference mitigation, Ethernet interface, synchronized operation, and more. By selecting smartmicro technology, the NXP Scalable Corner and Front Radar Solution allows to cover an entire 360-degree field of view around the vehicle to enable Euro NCAP compliant applications.
