smartmicro Partners with GLONASS Union for Distribution of Sensors in Russia

smartmicro partners with GLONASS Union, the well-known organization from Russia that recently conducted the first V2X interoperability test in Russia based on ETSI ITS-G5 standards.

GLONASS Union is the major player in the nation to build the infrastructure for smart cities in Russia and will employ smartmicro sensor technology in multiple large projects, supported by the smartmicro team in Moscow.

GLONASS Union members V2Lab, Sreda Solutions and SpaceTeams, rely on smartmicro traffic infrastructure sensors at intersections and highways for all their connected vehicle applications. Additionally, GLONASS Union will distribute smartmicro high-performance off-the-shelf automotive radar sensors nationwide.

We are excited to start this cooperation with our partners at GLONASS Union and to contribute to a greener, safer, and smarter infrastructure in Russia.
