Just in time for the World Environment Day, which will take place on June 3rd, 2020, smartmicro has taken another step towards being a green company.
We are proud to announce that our new solar system on the roof of our head offices in Braunschweig, Germany, is finished. Only a few months ago we planted additional trees on our premises and since 2011 we only use wood pellets for heating.
Since our smart buildings are completely computerized and control the heating and cooling systems, as well as the lights, by motion sensors, smartmicro can save energy and help reducing carbon emissions. This will also allow the new solar system to independently generate almost all the power we need.
