New bicycle detection project in Northern Germany

smartmicro radar technology is once again being used in the field to support safer and more efficient mobility.

In a recent installation together with a partner,  TOPGRD radar sensors were deployed for a bicycle detection application in Northern Germany.

Use cases like this show how reliable detection can help traffic systems better understand what is happening on the road, including the movement of cyclists as part of mixed urban traffic. 🚦

The project also highlights the value of close cooperation between smartmicro, partners, and local traffic stakeholders when bringing detection technology into real-world operation.
