4. DATA COLLECTION ON OUR WEBSITE
SERVER LOG FILES
The website provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser automatically transmits to us in “server log files”. These are:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address

FRIENDLY CAPTCHA
To protect our contact and inquiry forms from misuse by automated programs and bots, we use the Friendly Captcha service. The provider is Friendly Captcha GmbH, Am Anger 3–5, 82237 Wörthsee, Germany (www.friendlycaptcha.com).
Friendly Captcha is a privacy-friendly security solution designed to detect and prevent automated access to websites. When a protected form is accessed, a connection to Friendly Captcha’s servers is established. The system provides the user’s browser with a cryptographic challenge that is solved automatically in the background. The result is then transmitted to Friendly Captcha for validation. This process helps determine whether a request originates from a human user or from an automated system.
The processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of protecting our website, forms, and IT systems against spam, abusive requests, and automated attacks.
Friendly Captcha does not set cookies on the user’s device and does not read any existing cookies. IP addresses are processed only in hashed form, preventing both us and Friendly Captcha from identifying individual users.
According to the provider, any personal data processed as part of the service will be deleted no later than 30 days after collection.
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in protecting our website, communication channels, and IT systems from misuse, automated access, spam, and malicious attacks, as well as ensuring the secure provision of our online services.
