Hybrid AI Tracking goes live in Marseille
An exciting milestone for smartmicro as our Hybrid AI Tracking technology is now operational in Marseille, marking its first deployment in a French city.
Together with our partners, we successfully installed a detection system combining radar and video technology through Deep Fusion. By fusing data from multiple radar sensors and cameras, the system enables continuous object tracking across their combined fields of view, including the inner area of the intersection.
With radar detection ranges exceeding 200m, enhanced object classification, and improved detection redundancy in areas where occlusion can occur, the system provides a more complete picture of intersection activity, even under challenging weather conditions.
This installation is an important step in bringing our radar-centric, camera-enhanced, AI-powered approach into real-world traffic management.
