Where are you from and what’s your background?
I’m from Punjab, India, with an MBA in Marketing and a B.Tech in ECE. This blend of technical and commercial expertise helps me bridge products with market needs.
I have over 7 years of experience in sales and business development in the semiconductor and electronics industry with companies like Renesas Electronics.

What stood out about smartmicro’s work culture in Germany?

I was already familiar with smartmicro’s advanced radar technology and global reputation even before my time at Renesas Electronics, where I managed the radar business and further deepened my engagement with the radar ecosystem.

Joining felt like a natural step to align with a tech leader and contribute to its growth.

What excites you most about your new role?
I’m excited to explore untapped opportunities across multiple Indian industries.
It’s a chance to introduce world-class radar solutions to a growing market.
The role challenges me to be both strategic and hands-on, which I enjoy.

What goals are you focusing on?
My goal is to position smartmicro as the top radar tech brand in India.
I’m working to build a strong local presence through strategic partnerships and awareness.
Long-term, I aim to create sustainable growth and market leadership.

What are you passionate about in your work?
I’m passionate about building strong, lasting business relationships.
Driving growth through innovation and understanding customer needs keeps me motivated.
Closing high-impact deals gives me a sense of achievement and purpose.

How does it feel working remotely for a German company?
It’s a great experience—remote work offers flexibility without compromising productivity.
It allows me to stay close to the market while staying aligned with the HQ.
The global exposure also enhances my perspective and professional growth.

What do you enjoy outside work?
I enjoy fitness training, travelling, gardening, and reading up on the latest industry trends.
Staying active helps me maintain focus and energy in my work.
I also value time in nature, which keeps me grounded and refreshed.
