High-performance automotive radars – a 360° coverage around the vehicle
smartmicro’s high-performance automotive radars offer 4D/UHD resolution, featuring object separation in range, speed, and azimuth angle. They accurately cover a long range and very wide field of view.
Curium, a leading developer of automated calibration technologies in Singapore, performed a test of the smartmicro's automotive radars, to evaluate their accuracy in a 360° application. For that, six sensors were mounted around a vehicle, to cover its entire field of view and detect its surroundings - such as moving cars, VRUs (Vulnerable Road Users), or stationary objects.
