25 years smartmicro
On 28 November 1997, Hermann Rohling and Ralph Mende signed the documents founding a one-engineer company. Twenty-five years passed by, and here we are, celebrating the silver anniversary of smartmicro - with three office buildings, over 170 employees on board, and tens of partners worldwide.
A lot has happened in that time: From the first designed automotive radar to more than 15 million vehicles equipped with smartmicro technology, and over 100 thousand traffic sensors installed all over the globe. From a concept to creating a worldwide-known detection technology, aiming to make the future smarter, safer, and greener.
